“T-off with Theo” is offered at the beautiful 9-hole, 36 par golf course at the base of Mt. Meru. Theo is an enthusiastic golfer from the Netherlands but has been a resident of Tanzania for the last 20 years. So, if you want to have an African golf experience, this is a great opportunity to be escorted by a fellow golfer who knows the golf course and its environment. If you are a novice golfer, lessons from a professional are also available.
Your day of golf can be scheduled for either a morning or afternoon t-off. At the arranged time, Theo will meet you for a beverage at Ilboru and together, you will drive to the Gymkana Golf Club where your personal caddy, a set of clubs and balls are waiting for you. You can chose to play either 9 or 18 holes followed by a cold drink at the clubhouse. You will then be escorted back to Ilboru Safari Lodge for lunch or dinner to continue your relaxing holiday. Please note that a mini package is available which exclude transport.
